Taxiway E Extended Daytime Closures for Taxiway T Rehabilitation Project: April 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, 2024 - (0030 - 1600L)

Repaving of an asphalt pavement section between Runway 6R-24L and Taxiway E, at the Taxiway T intersection is upcoming. This work requires Saturday extended closures of Taxiway E (15.5 hours), between Taxiways K and D10.

Taxiway E Closure Between Taxiway N and Taxiway P | March 06, 2024 - July 02, 2024

The Taxiway D Extension Project will be closing Taxiway E between Taxiway N and Taxiway P continuously from March 06, 2024 through July 2, 2024. This closure will allow construction of new concrete and asphalt pavement at the Taxiway E and Taxiway P intersection.

Runway 6R-24L Long Term Closure for North Airfield Exit Taxiways (NAET) Project March 06, 2024 through July 18, 2024 (Revision 1)

Runway 6R-24L will be closed for 132 consecutive calendar days (estimated) beginning March 06, 2024 (0030L/0830Z) through July 18, 2024, for Phase 4 of the North Airfield Exit Taxiways (NAET) Project. The NAET Project will construct four new exit taxiways south of Runway 6L-24R that will connect to Taxiways D and E by the end of the project.

Taxiway E will be closed between Taxiway AA and Taxiway P from January 23, 2024 until July 2, 2024.

The Taxiway D Extension Project will be closing Taxiway E between Taxiway AA and Taxiway P continuously from January 23, 2024 through July 2, 2024. This closure will allow construction of future connector Taxiways V and W between Runway 24L and Taxiway E. Due to the Taxiway E closure Taxiway Z will also be closed between Runway 24L and Taxiway E.

VSR "E" is closed permanently between VSR "K" and VSR "P".

Vehicle Service Road E (VSR "E") between VSR "K" and VSR "P" was permanently closed on Friday January 19, 2024. All service road traffic is now detoured south to VSR "D" between VSR "K" and VSR "P". The permanent closure of VSR "E" between VSR "K" and VSR "P" is required to complete additional Taxiway D construction.

Taxiway D between Taxiway P and Taxilane D14 will open on Friday, January 19, 2024

New Taxiway D will be opened between Taxiway P and Taxilane D14 on Friday, Januray 19, 2024 at 1400L. Taxiway D between Taxiway AA and Taxiway P and Taxilane D14 will be restricted to ADG IV or smaller (MD11/B767) to facilitate additional construction work. Vehicle Service Road (VSR) D between VSR P and Taxilane D14 will continue to be closed until further notice.

Special Helicopter Operations: 12/13 & 12/15 on Taxiways "A" and "F' and Runways 7L/25R and 7R/25L.

We would like to make all airport users aware of some unusual helicopter operations that will take place on December 13^th and 15^th on Taxiways “A” and “F”, and Runways 7R/25L and 7L/25R

To facilitate urgent repairs, Post 4 (10901 Aviation Boulevard) will be closed Friday, December 8 through Sunday, December 10, daily from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Please note that POST 4 will be open outside of these hours.

Effective November 30, 2023: Taxiway V will change name to Taxiway R and Taxiway W will change name to Taxiway T.

Runway 6L-24R Long Term Closure for the North Airfield Exit Taxiways Project September 12, 2023 - January 09, 2024

Phase 3 of the North Airfield Exit Taxiways (NAET) Project that will construct 4 new runway exit taxiways between Runway 6L-24R and Taxiway E begins on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 0030 PDT. Runway 6L-24R will be continuously closed for 119-day starting on Tuesday September 12, 2023 at 0030 PDT. Estimated reopening of Runway 6L-24R is January 09, 2024.

On Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 0630L, Phase 3 of the Taxiway D Extension Project will be completed and the newly constructed Taxiway D between Taxiway AA and Taxilane D14, and Taxilane D14 will be opened.

When Taxiway D between Taxiway AA and D14 and Taxilane D14 are opened, they will be restricted to Aircraft Design Group IV (ADG IV) or smaller (MD11/B767). This restriction will be required due to future construction limits and will be in place until July 5, 2024 (Estimated).

Taxilane E14 will be permanently closed at 0030L on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. The new entrance to the FedEx Apron and hangar will be from Taxiway AA to Taxiway D and Taxilane D14, starting at 0630L on September 12, 2023.

New Vehicle Service Road (VSR) "D" Opens 9/13

New Vehicle Service Road (VSR) "D" is scheduled to open on September 13th between Taxiway K and Taxiway P and will eventually replace the existing VSR "E". Simultaneously, the VSR that crosses TWY D north of the Bradley West gates will also close. Please use caution for slower traffic as you transition the area north of Bradley West and at the triple taxiway crossing for Taxiways' M, N, and P.
