On Wednesday, July 26, a new zipper road crossing will be opened across Taxiway AA connecting VSR D to VSR AA abeam Gate 417. Drivers must use caution for aircraft taxiing on Taxiway AA or for aircraft pushing back from Gates 415-419.

On Wednesday, July 26 at 1000L, Taxiway AA will reopen between Taxiway E and Gate 419.

On Wednesday, July 26, a new zipper road crossing will be opened across Taxiway AA connecting VSR D to VSR AA abeam Gate 417. Drivers must use caution for aircraft taxiing on Taxiway AA or for aircraft pushing back from Gates 415-419.

Gate 419 will be reopened as an unrestricted single parking position for aircraft up to ADG V. Lead in lines for Gate 419A and 419B will be permanently removed.

Taxiway A is scheduled to close on July 14, 2023 and again on July 19, 2023 to facilitate repairs being made to South Pad 1. The duration of both closures is eight (8) hours beginning at 0030L, with re-opening planned for 0830L.

The North Airfield Exit Taxiways (NAET) Project that will construct 4 new runway exit taxiways between Runway 06L-24R and Taxiway E.

The North Airfield Exit Taxiways (NAET) Project that will construct 4 new runway exit taxiways between Runway 06L-24R and Taxiway E will complete the Phase 1 Taxiway D concrete pavement reconstruction north of Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) between Taxiways K and D10 on May 26, 2023.

Post 5 Exit Lane Closure May 22, 2023 (0600) - June 3, 2023 (1700)

To facilitate construction for widening the exit lane at Post 5, the exit lane will close starting 0600L on Monday, May 22, 2023. Per the construction schedule, the exit lane is scheduled to re-open on June 3, 2023 at 1700L. This is a continuous (24/7) closure. Please note that there is no impact to the entrance gates, they will remain open for the duration of the project. Alternate exits from the airfield can be found at either Post 4, located at the at the southeast side of the field, or Post 23, located at the northwest side of the field. Vehicle Service Road Driver Safety: Drivers should be aware of the potential for increased transit times when transitioning to an alternate exit point. Drivers should exercise caution and obey vehicle service road speed limits, signs and markings. Always give way to aircraft and emergency services vehicles. Notices to Air Missions (NOTAMs) have been issued for the scheduled closures. Please plan flight operations accordingly and check current NOTAMs at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch for current airfield operating conditions.

Runway 7L-25R Extended Runway Closure

Runway 7L-25R is scheduled to close on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 0100L until 1300L. This closure will support general upkeep of the runway, such as rubber removal, a paint refresh of a number of the runway markings and lighting circuit maintenance.

Runway 7L-25R Extended Runway Closure

Runway 7L-25R is scheduled to close on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 0100L and re-open at 1300L. This closure will support ongoing upkeep of the runway, such as pavement maintenance, sign replacement, lighting maintenance and joint sealing. Mowing operations and FOD mitigation will also take place, along with many other preventative maintenance activities.
