BuildLAX Academy

Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), owner of LAX and Van Nuys Airports, presents the BuildLAX Academy in partnership with the Contractor Development and Bonding Program.

BuildLAX Academy is designed to provide small contractors support and preparation to address the challenges they may encounter accessing contract opportunities on LAWA projects. BuildLAX

Academy will prepare contractors to successfully:

  • Navigate LAWA’s procurement process
  • Comply with contract requirements
  • Strengthen their contracting capacity

Bonding Program

Administered by the Office of the City Administrative Officer, Risk Management, for all City departments, CDABP is designed to assist in removing the barriers of surety bonding by providing technical and administrative assistance to local, small and minority businesses who would not otherwise be able to provide, on their own, the necessary bid, payment, and performance bonds to successfully bid and compete for City business opportunities.

Contract Status Reports

In an effort to give businesses the most insight into LAWA procurement schedules, upcoming opportunities, and needs, we would like to share the LAWA Contract Expiration Report.
