Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is a department within the City of Los Angeles. LAWA employs approximately 4,000 City employees to operate and maintain Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Van Nuys Airport (VNY).
LAWA is a very unique place to work. We pride ourselves in being a Gold Standard Airport. In order to accomplish this, we require a dedicated workforce comprised of hundreds of different job classifications to operate and manage the world’s premier airport system.
