BOAC APPOINTS NEW MEMBER TO ADVISORY COUNCIL

 

            (Van Nuys, California)  The Van Nuys Airport Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) has recently gained a new member – Cindy Goodfellow.  Goodfellow was appointed to the CAC in early November by the Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC), a seven-member entity that governs Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and stands responsible for the formation of airport policy.

            Cindy Goodfellow has over thirty years’ experience and a broad background within commercial office, warehouse, and aviation property management, marketing and administration.  She currently serves as Administrative Manager for The Aerolease Associates, LLC, which has constructed and presently manages various aviation-related properties at the Van Nuys and Long Beach Airports.  She has an extensive commitment to her community and has served on various board and committee positions.

            The Van Nuys Airport Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) is an eighteen-member council comprised of representatives appointed by the Board of Airport Commissioners, the Mayor of Los Angeles, and Los Angeles City Council members from districts 2,3,5,6,7 and 12.  The CAC convenes the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the FlyAway conference room.
