FOUR NEW OFFICERS JOIN LOS ANGELES AIRPORT POLICE
(Los Angeles, California – February 24, 2015) The ranks of Los Angeles Airport Police grew as 4 new officers were sworn-in following a much anticipated graduation ceremony. Officers Alberto Escalera, Mayra Cisneros, Michael Tawagon and Emmanuel Toledo took part in graduation ceremonies at the Los Angeles Police Department Administration Building in Downtown, Los Angeles.
Officer Michael Tawagon was selected as academy class Vice-President and was part of the Color Guard. Officer Mayra Cisneros was selected as class Secretary. After the ceremony, Airport Police Chief Patrick Gannon personally conducted the officers’ swearing-in. Chief Gannon congratulated the officers and emphasized the importance of family support as they begin their careers in law enforcement.
Also attending the graduation, Assistant Airport Police Chief Brian Walker, Acting Assistant Chief Fernando Castro, Captain Greg Staar and Academy Drill Instructor Adela Lopez.
