LAX AND DFS PAMPER MOMS AND FAMILIES FOR MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

(Los Angeles, CA) Though Mother’s Day is a little over a week away, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and DFS Group gave traveling moms and their traveling companions the star treatment today at Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). Mothers and their families who entered TBIT were greeted by a variety of activities and gifts, all meant to celebrate the commitment they make to brigtening our days, everyday, whether its on a playground, on a phone call, or in an international airport terminal.

“Moms are often so busy taking care of others, they don’t take the time to treat themselves, so for the Mother’s Day holiday we wanted to do what we can to help them relax, have fun and feel pampered at LAX," said Barbara Yamamoto, Chief Experience Officer of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). “Wherever they’re headed today, we want Mom to feel special, and DFS is helping us make that happen.” LAX Traveler with Guest Experience Banner

As guests entered TBIT’s Great Hall (the area just beyond Transportation Security Administration screening), they were given hand-crafted wooden roses, invited to have their pictures taken in a photo booth, enjoyed chocolates from Godiva, had their own perfume bottles engraved, and sampled luxurious makeup and skincare products. Customers also had the opportunity to play Spin-the-Wheel for the chance to win a variety of prizes.

“DFS is delighted to offer all of our traveling customers exclusive savings and special promotions as part of Mothers’ Day 2018,” said Mark Sullivan Managing Director, America, North America Division. “We look forward to seeing mothers treating themselves to something luxurious, or being pampered by loved ones on this special day of the year.”
