Historic Aircraft Formation Flyover
Heralds Santa’s Arrival at Local Elementary School

 

 

WHAT: A squadron of World War II vintage AT-6 Texan aircraft will fly in formation to announce Santa’s arrival at Gault Street Elementary School in Van Nuys as part of a special holiday celebration sponsored by Van Nuys Airport. Santa will arrive via antique fire truck to spread holiday cheer and hand out gifts donated by local businesses and community members to more than 500 children. With Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck as his elves, Santa will read "’Twas the Night Before Christmas" to all participating students. Festivities will include a performance by the Van Nuys High School marching band and a fun-filled juggling demonstration.Excellent opportunity for holiday visuals.
