Avion Drive, North of Century Boulevard

Friday, June 13, 10 P.M. through Saturday, June 14, 10 P.M.

June 11, 2025 — To facilitate civil work for the Automated People Mover Project, a portion of Avion Drive north of Century Boulevard, including the crosswalk and sidewalk, will be closed for 24 hours between Friday, June 13 at 10 p.m. through Saturday, June 14 at 10 p.m. Century Boulevard vehicular traffic is not impacted in either direction by this phase of work.

Pedestrians looking to reach the north side of Century Boulevard will be provided with a shuttle bus option for transportation, operating between the east side of Lot F to the area along Avion Drive near the Sheraton Hotel, illustrated below. Additionally, pedestrians on the north side of Century Boulevard looking to cross at Avion Drive will be detoured via Vicksburg Avenue, 98th Street and Airport Boulevard.

Flaggers and signage will be in place to facilitate vehicular and pedestrian movements. Please watch for posted signage and always use caution when traveling near construction areas.
