Multiple Task Order Contract (MATOC)
The Construction and Design Build MATOC established four on-call pools of prequalified contractors based on the type of project and delivery method. This innovative contracting strategy enables LAWA to quickly issue Task Orders for various services to support delivery of the $30 billion Capital Improvement Program. MATOC contracts were awarded to 31 qualified Small, Medium, and Large size businesses to provide specific services within a maximum funding authority of $5 billion.
- Horizontal projects - Airfield paving, Roads, Bridges and Utilities
- Vertical projects - Terminals, other buildings, and Tenant Improvements
- Construction contracts established for Bid-Build projects where LAWA provides 100% design documents.
- Design Build contracts established for Design Build projects and other Alternative Delivery methods.
Inclusivity
LAWA established minimum buisness inclusion requirements to maximize the participation of small, local and disabled veteran owned businesses. MATOC prime contractors may have contractually committed to higher levels of participation on their contract or on a specifc project Task Order.
