CLOSURE ON 98TH STREET TO SUPPORT CIVIL WORK
Activity:
Beginning on the night of Jan. 7, 2023, construction activities on 98th Street will limit access between Vicksburg Avenue and Avion Drive (map 1). The closure will allow for civil work on the extension of Jetway Boulevard, which will intersect at Century Boulevard, 98th Street and 96th Street.
Signage will be posted at the intersections of Vicksburg Avenue and Airport Boulevard, and a U-Turn will be implemented at the work area throughout the approximately 3-month operation. Driveway access will be maintained for all businesses on 98th Street during the detour period, with the exception of overnight restriping operations, occurring from 1:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. on the morning of Jan. 8, 2023.
Motorists are encouraged to utilize 96th Street or Century Boulevard to access Airport Boulevard and Vicksburg Avenue.
