LOWER/ARRIVALS LEVEL CLOSURES ON WORLD WAY AT TERMINAL 1 IN EFFECT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

Activity:

Lower World Way (Arrivals Level) outer lanes will be closed for several nights in order to construct a pedestrian bridge over the roadway beginning Monday, Feb. 21. The pedestrian bridge will connect the Terminal 1 extension to the future Automated People Mover Center Central Terminal Area Station. Full closures of the Lower/Arrivals Level outer lanes will be in effect from Monday, Feb. 21 to Wednesday, March 9 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closure will also be in place on Monday, April 4 from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.

During these closures, all traffic will be detoured to the Lower/Arrivals Level inner lanes. Please watch for posted signage and prepare to follow all detour routes during this work. Always use caution when traveling through construction areas.


Lower Level Lane Closures:

In addition to the full closures, from Monday, Feb. 21 to Monday, April 4, daily and nightly lane closures on World Way across from Terminal 1 will be utilized to support constructing the pedestrian bridge. Flaggers will assist with traffic control. Please use caution when traveling through the area.

Sunday through Friday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m
