    LAWA procures over $200 million a year of goods, materials, and services to maintain efficient operation of its network of airports at Los Angeles (LAX), Ontario (ONT), Van Nuys (VNY), and Palmdale (PMD).       Yes. Which form(s) to complete depends on the amount and type of bid. Information on which form(s) to complete will be specified on the RFB or RFP document.

      5. How do I get my name on the list for future business opportunities?

      Purchasing Division: Persons desiring to be placed on Purchasing Division's bidder list should submit a business card along with a one-page general description of the business and type of goods and services they are interested in providing. Direct all mail to Los Angeles World Airports, Purchasing Office, 7303 World Way West, Los Angeles, CA 90045, Attn: Buyer or visit the Purchasing Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (no appointment necessary).Product demonstrations are allowed by making an appointment with the buyer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

      Concessions: Persons interested in submitting new business concepts to Concessions Management Division should submit a letter describing the business concept to Los Angeles World Airport, Concessions Management Division, 7301 World Way West, 2nd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90045-5828, Attn: Concessions Manager.

      Small Business and Job Opportunities Center: You may register by calling the SBJOD at 310.417.6490 and submitting basic information and a general description of your business.

      6. Can I be present when the bids are opened?

      Yes. Bids valued between $10,000 - $25,000 do not have formal public openings but do have stated opening dates and times, usually on Fridays, 2:00 p.m. at the Purchasing Office. Bids valued at greater than $25,000 have a formal public opening and have stated opening dates and times.

      7. How do I learn about bid results?

      Bid results of all bids can be obtained through the Automated Bid Retrieval System. Bid tabulation sheets are also available for public inspection at the Purchasing Office

      8. May I inspect the bids?

      After an award of contract is made, bid recap sheets of informal awards (less than $25,000) are available to the public for inspection at the Purchasing Office, formal bids (over $25,000), may be reviewed on request.
