What should I do if I am planning an event such as the arrival or departure of a group that may draw crowds at the airport?

Large crowds composed of non-travelling members of the public have the potential to disrupt normal patterns of vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow.  Our Airport Police Division mobilizes quickly to ensure public safety and keep our roads and sidewalks  unobstructed for use by the travelling public.  If you have information that would suggest sizeable crowds will be present to observe the arrival or departure of any customer of Los Angeles World Airports, we would like that information. Contact the on-duty Police Watch Commander at 310- 646 0200, and advise them of the nature of the event, the date and time and all relevant information that will assist us and you in management of the event.
