More than 2,200 companies and 11,000 charter party vehicles are authorized to operate at LAX. All charter party carriers that conduct business at LAX (i.e. pick-up passengers) are required to have a current executed license agreement with the Department of Airports, display a valid vehicle decal and have a functioning Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) transponder affixed to each vehicle.

Annual License Agreement Review and Permit Decal Renewal
Current TCP companies will be notified by mail of their scheduled review and 2013/2014 decal renewal. Notification will be distributed in four (4) phases:
Phase 1: Notification mailed 04/15/2012.
Phase 2: Notification mailed 05/15/2012.
Phase 3: Notification mailed 08/15/2012
Phase 4: Notification mailed 09/15/2012.
Completed application packages are due twenty one (21) days from the date of the letter as stated above. Application packages will not be accepted prior to their scheduled phase.

Once documents are received and processed, the Permits staff will phone to schedule an appointment for vehicle inspection and decal application.
Each company must adhere to the review instructions and maintain all License Agreement requirements (i.e. insurance requirements) to receive the vehicle permits. Operating with expired decals may result in driver citation, vehicle impound, and/or permanent revocation of the Non-Exclusive License Agreement. Failure to complete this process by the due date will result in the company being subject to suspension of operating privileges at LAX.

Operating with an expired decal is a violation of the LAX Commercial Vehicle Rules and Regulations and subject to citation and vehicle impound.
